What's your favorite Beatles song? Bonus points if you share it with us.
My favorite is "Something"
List three things you'd buy with your last $20. One practical, one frivolous and one of your choosing.
1. One pint of Smithwick's
2. One pint of Harp Lager
3. Two pints of Guinness
Sorry, no tip.
What have you changed your mind about?

Who I'm voting for on Super Tuesday. It was going to be Edwards...but now...I dunno. I'm leaning towards Obama. I keep flashing back to my living room when I heard him speak for the first time at the last Convention and thought "WHO is that smart, passionate, on point, good looking future President?" That was my gut instinct about him. I dunno, I might stick with Edwards because I really admire that he just doesn't give a crap and says what he thinks. And I do love Hillary Clinton, she's always been one of my sheroes - but I confess Bill has a lot to do with that. I admire them as a team. And I also appreciate what she has done as my Senator.
Wow. I'm actually undecided for the first time ever.
To be honest, I don't care who it is. I really don't. I think they are all good. They would all make excellent Presidents. And I'm bitter about being forced to consider who would make the best candidate. This is why I dislike Primaries as it is. They feel so unnatural to me because the focus shouldn't be about the future campaign.
I've had an active history in politics and I've devoted mounds of energy to the Democratic Party my entire life - literally. Heck, I've even been on the payroll before. I've served my time, in many ways. So I guess I'm saving up my Yellow Dog Democratic passion for the months leading up to the actual election which is when I feel like exuding my energy will be more worthwhile.
What fragrance/cologne do you put on when it's your night out?

My fave. I prefer the body lotion. I do well with rose scents...
It's dedication time. What song are you sending out, and who is it dedicated to?
I was a highwayman. Along the coach roads I did ride
With sword and pistol by my side
Many a young maid lost her baubles to my trade
Many a soldier shed his lifeblood on my blade
The bastards hung me in the spring of twenty-five
But I am still alive.
I was a sailor. I was born upon the tide
And with the sea I did abide.
I sailed a schooner round the Horn to Mexico
I went aloft and furled the mainsail in a blow
And when the yards broke off they said that I got killed
But I am living still.
I was a dam builder across the river deep and wide
Where steel and water did collide
A place called Boulder on the wild Colorado
I slipped and fell into the wet concrete below
They buried me in that great tomb that knows no sound
But I am still around..I'll always be around..and around and around and
around and around
I fly a starship across the Universe divide
And when I reach the other side
I'll find a place to rest my spirit if I can
Perhaps I may become a highwayman again
Or I may simply be a single drop of rain
But I will remain
And I'll be back again, and again and again and again and again..
"Halo 3" was released this week - did you get a copy? What are your early thoughts on this final installment of the blockbuster trilogy?
Did I get a copy? NO. Did I nearly get run over by hoards of nerds dressed like futuristic soldiers? YES.
I work on a relatively busy corner of Midtown Manhattan. The first floor of my building is occupied by a Best Buy. I've seen some interesting things go on there. The Play Station III release was the most ridiculous. People were lined up outside TWO DAYS in advance. When Dolly Parton came to sign albums, every gay man in NYC were lined up all day waiting. There was even a drag queen or two with big blond wigs and sparkly dresses on. During Rob Thomas' appearance (LOVE HIM) a bunch of peeps that look like me were lined up all day. He was the coolest. My friend saw the whole thing. He pulled up to the curb in a cherry red porche, stepped out of the driver's side, adjusted his sunglasses, set the car alarm *beep beep*, lit up a cigarette, waved to his fans and entered my building - still smoking. OMG he's so COOL. *sigh* And just last week Fifty Cent was there, yeah yeah.
So I show up to work earlier this week and notice the set up on the corner. The red carpet was rolled out and there were lights lining the sidewalk that looked like they belonged outside of a Hollywood premiere. Metal gates and dividing ribbon were set up to accommodate for the lines that would be forming outside of the entrance to my building (My door is separate from the BB entry). I noticed a HUGE truck set up outside of my entrance that had a gigantic digital display screen sticking out of the top of it. At this time the screen was still blank. When I came out for lunch, the bustle was starting. Geeks were starting to line up, giddy and prattling on about the game. There were two chicks on either side of the entrance to the waiting line with clip boards and headsets looking official. I looked up and noticed the big digital screen was alternating between the footage of what was going on inside - an MTV looking host sitting on a couch interviewing people who were getting a chance to play the game - and clips from the game they were playing. By the time I left work, the lines were getting bigger and the nerds were getting antsy. There were quite a few of them dressed as characters from the game. It was pretty wild.
Who's the coolest culinary celebrity?
Umm....HELLO? This is easy.
Anthony Bourdain.
I've eaten at Les Halles thrice now, it's a really great place! They are so friendly and the service is spectacular. And the food...well...it's amazing. I love all of his shows, he's truly unique and FUNNY. The show he did in Lebanon during the Israeli air strikes should have won him an award.
A story: When my mom read Kitchen Confidential, she couldn't put it down because of the personal connection she made with it. Turns out, Bourdain's first cooking experience in Province Town, MA was at the same restaurant that my mom waitressed at during the summers back in the day. She recognized all of the people he described in the book and was astounded. He worked there just a few years after she had left. So she immediately wrote him a fan letter and he wrote her back, saying that he rarely answers fan mail but the connection was so uncanny and random that he just had to say hello. He was very sweet.
Which runway show at New York Fashion Week do you wish you could attend?
I think the only one that would be remotely interesting would be the Project Runway show (I'm a recent addict of that show).
But really, NONE. I'm just glad these fucking people are leaving my work neighborhood. Hogging most of Bryant Park for that long is a flipping crime, imo. Ever heard of Central Park? It's BIGGER, lots of space and it's easy to get to, hello! Besides, Bryant Park aka Needle Park has seen enough heroine use in it's day.
Although I do like Redzilla's idea of attending just to feed these women.
